Understanding RukkyHub Rate Limit

Learn more about the API rate limit

Understanding RukkyHub Rate Limit Headers

RukkyHub API responses include headers that help you monitor your request allowance:

  • X-RateLimit-Limit — the configured request limit.
  • X-RateLimit-Remaining — the number of requests remaining in the current limit window.
  • X-RateLimit-Reset — the reset timestamp provided by the API.

Rate limits are applied per API key and reset every minute. The actual requests-per-minute allowance depends on your API access plan.

If your application receives HTTP 429 Too Many Requests, reduce request frequency and retry after an appropriate delay. Use exponential backoff instead of repeatedly sending requests immediately.

Review API Usage Logs

The RukkyHub Developer Portal provides API usage logs containing request timestamps, endpoint, action, HTTP status code, response latency, and requesting IP address. Use these logs to identify repeated requests, recurring errors, and unexpected traffic.
